Award nominations!
Two recent award nominations! The Shape of You has been shortlisted for the 43rd Annual Northern California Book Award in Children’s Books: Younger Readers. My first book, In a Village by the Sea , won this award in 2016, so this nomination is twice as nice! Wishes , now available in German as Wünsche thanks to Horami , has been nominated for the prestigious Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis (German Children’s Literature Award) 2024! This is my first international award nomination and I am so happy that readers around the world continue to connect with Wishes .
